“到达时是傍晚，很喜欢洒满夕阳的房间。虽然是在路边，但是街道不算吵。典型的英式早餐做的很地道。位于约克城区外围，因为本来就不大，所以并不觉得偏远。屋主是位很nice的老太太，很感谢她向我们推荐旅游线路。”

“The staff was friendly and helpful when we arrived. She helped us with a dinner reservation and advised us on some things to do in York. The hotel was an easy walk to the York city wall and the train station. The room was lovely. Do book the delicious breakfast. It is plentiful and will get you ready for a day of exploring!”

“I ordered the Sunday Lunch which was very good and loads of it washed down with a very nice and reasonable bottle of Portugese Wine. The only strange part was going to the bar to order and pay for it up front and then asked if you wanted to leave a tip before you had been served anything and did not know if the service was going to be any good which was very strange - I feel sorry for the staff as I declined the tip upfront but then had no cash with me to make my usual 10% tip after I finished……

“I really enjoyed my stay at Ashbourne House! The room was very comfortable and bright, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is great too -- a lovely walk along the river away from the bustling city centre. ”

“would be 5 stars for service but its unmanned on arrival. however lovely service at breakfast which full english was delicious. Room 5 on the top floor was perfect - so quiet and relaxing - nice view and the large walk in shower was excellent! bed was so comfy - best sleep for a long time. couldn't get parked as only 5 spaces in private car park but can park just metres away on public road. two minute walk to start of town centre.”
