In need of update / refresh. Loud dripping tap in bathroom near head of bed. Baseboard heater in bathroom very rusty. TV small, limited channels (Optik only) and at an odd angle for watching comfortably from any seat. No cover on remote, batteries kept falling out. Prior stay at Reef Point to escape the ridiculous Halloween fireworks. Heavenly quiet. That was a different cabin, a little further along the road. It was perfect. This time around, had just returned from getting my dog out to relieve herself. Then the bombs began, very nearby, very loud. Dog disappeared under the bed. Endured over an hour of that. Second night, just got dog out when the bombs started again. Had to return inside immediately for the rest of the night. Third night - yet another night of bombs. It was appalling, particularly in a place such as Ucluelet, where it is completely incongruent with the environment and expectations. I didn't see my dog at all while in the room - she was always wedged between the wall and beneath the bed in search of cover. I could have stayed home and saved a lot of money. Can't recommend this particular cabin and certainly not the immediate area now, at least in October / November.

The hot tub was not in operation until november but not an issue to us. We enjoyed the kitchen with dishwasher and all the accessories. The bed was comfy and lots of luggage space. The metal staircase was ok, but maybe not for the more elderly. Lighting fixture in dining area needs new bulbs or possibly repair.

Good overall experience with the cottage. The place was very quiet and away from the busy town center. There were sufficient cooking facilities but there was no washing machines. Two bad things were there was stair case as I had heavy baggages to move. And, another thing was the can opener was broken that made my cooking inconvenient.

The property was perfect for 4 friends exploring the area. The furniture was a bit lacking as the easy chair is a bit worn out and wobbly and there was only an additional sofa. We managed with a perch on a footstool, but the lounge seating does not really match the bed count. Since we did not spend a lot of time in the unit is worked fine for us. Our particular unit seemed to lack a dedicated parking space, although there was a place to park nearby. If this is important, perhaps double check this detail. While the property was not luxurious it was clean, quiet and adequate for few days in the area. I would stay again and recommend.

Could not get in with code provided but they did provide alternate code. Place was clean but tub area was old and grout was black in areas. Based on picture showing when booking I thought I was booking one with a regular staircase but we got a spiral staircase. Being over 60 we found this more difficult to navigate especially at night and could not bring our suitcases up.

We were really looking forward to this stay. The cottages look quaint and inviting on the listing. Unfortunately, of the many places we have stayed on our travels, this was the only one where we were disappointed. We are aware this was peak season, still, the value for the price was not there. Our cottage had a pull out couch for me to sleep on so my mother could have the bed. The fitted sheet was for a single not a double so I was unable to cover the mattress. Some other issues included but were not limite to: the stove had a broken knob, the bathroom is dated, rusted, and the sink dripped contstantly. I would not recommend this location.

There were some packages of coffee and tea but no salt and pepper, no salad bowl and only 2 forks. The kitchen and bathroom sink taps were backwards so I wasted water waiting for it heat up before realizing the switch. There was no place to recycle items other than cardboard

It was fine but you need to be able to receive the check-in instructions by SMS. As we were coming from overseas, we couldn't receive SMS in Canada. Fortunately the management operator left an envelop for us at the reception. We found lots of hairs stuck on the walls of the shower. That left us with a negative impression in terms of cleanliness

The cabin was equipped with everything we needed for our stay, including all kitchen items, as well as coffee and tea. Location was very quiet and close to several trails. Check-in process was seamless.
