“The hotel, staff, breakfast, bathroom and bedroom were all very good. The poor rating is because it's impossible to get a decent sleep! The stairs up to my room and a cluster of other rooms are made of wood, so when one group of guests came home at 1:05am, I'm woken up just by their footsteps clomping and echoing on the wooden stairs. Then at 3:41am, a family leaves early for the airport, so I'm re-awoken, again by the stairs. No one was rude or yelling or drunk. The design makes it inevitable……

“Extremely Disappointing Stay in Apartment No. 7 I stayed for three nights in Apartment No. 7 and, unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The property had a pervasive sewer odor throughout the apartment, making it extremely unpleasant to stay in. Cleanliness and maintenance were far below acceptable standards. The bedspreads appeared unwashed, the bathroom sink was clogged, and the shower was in poor condition with a leaking, malfunctioning faucet. The mattress in the bedroom……

“This is a great hotel in many ways: staff, breakfast nice room, comfortable, view... but there are two notable problems. First, despite the Expedia website saying this hotel has "free offsite parking", it does not. Staff very kindly recommended parking, but it isn't free. Second, the neighborhood of this hotel is plagued by a gang of roaming youth who throw fireworks, some of which are very loud. No one in the area seems able to contain this problem and it is very disturbing.”
