“Our son and fiancée stayed at this little cabin and were very happy with this option. Their faces lit up when we drove up. The setting is beautiful and the accommodations were comfortable. The owners were communicative and very helpful. We will be renting this place again for family if it is available. Thank you. ”

“This place is just as advertised. Quite place to relax and just be in nature. Its perfectly loacated halfway between Ithica and Watkins Glen. Close to all the waterfalls vineyards and not far from some great museums. The only downside is after hiking all day is climbing the ladder to get the comfy bed. I would love to stay here again! ”

“We did our annual trip to Seneca Lake and for the last several years we have stayed at Christine's cabin - it is very convenient to see friends we have in the area and to visit the wineries on Seneca Lake. The Cabin is always clean and everything works well - the gas grill outside was recently updated I noticed. Thanks for another year and we'll be back next year if not sooner.”

“The home was very nice with beautiful views and ultimate privacy. You do need to make sure you bring food and drink as not much is nearby except wineries.”

“Thanks to Liz for making our last-minute reservation happen! This is such a unique property. I've never spent a night in a straw-bale constructed home before, but after this experience I think I'd like to do it more often. The home is charming, quiet, and peaceful, and maintains a very even temperature inside. Spent a few days here with my wife for a quick getaway, and we found the location halfway between Watkins Glen and Ithaca to be about perfect. So many things to do, if you want to...

“Nice cabin made out of rough cut lumber makes a nice family retreat. Love the building and location that appears to have been built by the owner. Plenty of room for 8 of us with beds with linens and room to spread out. It's on a small cliff side on the lake with a beautiful deck, stairs down to the water, and a dock on the water. I can't believe some old reviews criticize the amount of stairs? It's on a cliff side, what do they want ladders? Crazy. The stairs are very sturdy with a nice hand...
