This hotel is very dated. It is starting to see some wear -chipped pain, stain on the ceiling in the hall, bathroom door squeaked. Beds were clean and comfortable. Nice large bathroom, good kitchenette. Breakfast was average for hotel. Price was good, but there are similar priced nicer hotels in Carrier Circle area.

This property was fine to stay in however it does need to update their rooms. It does look like they are doing some work and the pool and workout area were closed down because they are updating it. If this hotel does some major changes, it could be a very nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and the driver to the shuttle was excellent.

We had an amazing stay and can't wait to come back! The cabin was absolutely beautiful—spotlessly clean, cozy, and surrounded by peaceful forest views. Having lake access made our stay even more special, whether it was relaxing by the water or taking in the quiet scenery. One of the highlights was the spa. The sauna, cold plunge, and wellness spaces were the perfect way to unwind after spending time outdoors. Everything about the property encourages you to slow down, disconnect, and enjoy nature. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful cabins, lake access, and wonderful spa amenities, Vanderkamp is the perfect destination. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning our next visit!
