“Comfortable and cozy cottage on the lake. Very nice location. Boys shared the bunk room and my wife and I rested well on the king bed. My boys and I really enjoyed fishing off the dock - we caught a few sunnies and bluegills - meanwhile, local fishermen by the road caught some monsters!”

“This pet-friendly lake house was very clean, cozy, spacious. It was fully stocked with anything we needed and was nicely decorated. The view and amenities were wonderful. We had a lovely weekend and can't wait to go back!”

“This is an older home but set up well and it was nice and clean with tons of add ons. Kitchen was fully stocked. There was a full coffee, tea bar and every dish and utensil you could ever need. Home is spacious and comfortable. ”

“Historical building with lots of character, lobby fireplace was warming on a rainy day. The first floor lobby and dining rooms are very dark, great atmosphere but bring a little flashlight. Met a lot of nice people during our stay. The welcoming scotch was fantastic. We heard the breakfast was minimal. It was not, filled with all kinds of homemade apple strudel, mushroom quiche, chocolate pastries, many other delicious sweet muffins, etc.”

“The air/heating systems need to be upgraded - noisy. No ceiling fan. Tech charging system needs all types. Room was nice and bath too”

“Location is really nice, view is super, beds were comfortable. We mostly enjoyed our stay. Probably won't stay again due to few small things that really diminished the overall experience and stress. We could not wash our clothes, big deal for a family packing limited clothes. Washer and dryer look to be from 1982. Electric stove worked but we could never get the pans hot enough to cook food in a timely manner. The dishwasher leaked, it was newer model but we got through that one.Should address……

“We stayed there with my adult children. We all travel frequently for work yet none of us had every stayed in a more inviting and beautiful home as the Country Lodge. It was large enough for us all to have privacy, to have space for cooking, playing games, working out, reading and knitting in front of the fireplace. We also enjoyed walking in their woods to the waterfall in the early evening as the snow gently fell. Then coming home to the warm inviting space the hosts provided us. Our mission……
