This property has 1 queen bedroom, 1 Bath Room with Claw tub/shower. Open living room and kitchen space. The Kitchen has cook/bake wear/dishes available. The living room is spacious with tw0 chairs and a loveseat. A tv is provided with Roku, Wireless Internet, and the area has fantastic Cell service. There is a washer and dryer, microwave, coffee pot, and refrigerator. This cute little house has had many updates in the last year BUT the back porch is ugly and has chipped paint. It is very clean and comfortable but Midweek, it does run as a Part time Hair Salon. It is impossible for me to get every little clipper hair removed. I do clean thoroughly but please don't come at me if you see a small hair here and there that the vacuum and mop missed. If you have any questions pls reach out. The days available are flexible so pls ask if you need a day added I may be able to accommodate you.

Nice Stay
We enjoyed our stay in the Upper Peninsula in Michigan. While the condition of the house was not perfect, the listing communicated any limitations, and we knew what the house was and it was as is expected. Otherwise, it was a nice house to stay in the center of the UP. While Trenary is a little remote from many of the areas we wanted to see, the central location made it easy to travel to the different places we wanted to go. We had a great time during our stay. Thanks!

Overall, the place is nice for a U.P. getaway and Lisa is a good host. Great water pressure. Great location and the neighborhood is super quiet. Trenary Tavern and restaurant was with in walking distance had great food and service. So the cons: Overall the place was clean but we found a bunch of long dark hairs in the bathroom. The mattresses felt like they were not queen size but maybe full and are on squeaky metal frames where you would sit up or move and they’d make a ton of noise. Overall were not great to sleep on. The toilet paper was dissovable. The lawn hadn’t been cut in weeks when we visited in the fall which would be fine but also when paying extra fees for my dog to come and stay, I feel that should be taken care of and especially if the bonfire pit is listed as an amenity in the yard. There were no chairs by the bonfire. The deck and dryer are kind of falling apart. The dryer opens with a wire hanger and feels like an overall safety hazard. Overall - the location was great. Lisa is great. The house is warm. The kitchen is great. If you are looking for a no frills option this is the place.

The people around town were very friendly. We like the location. We did a lot of waterfall chasing.
We had a nice stay. Like the location for what we did.. Overall dealing with the owner was wonderful. A little disappointed in the spiderweb. Wife doesn't like spiders.

Nice Stay
We had a nice stay in Trenary and it provided a good spot to see the rest of the UP from. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and we were thankful to have a chance to relax and even wash our clothes.

Great place close to Pictured Rocks
This place was great for us. About a 30 minute drive to munising/pictured rocks. Had plenty of bedding, bathroom and kitchen supplies. Overall very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable stay within driving distance of pictured rocks! Thank you to Lisa for a great experience :)

Cozy, clean, quiet neighborhood
We stayed at this property during our visit to pictured rocks near Munising. About a 30 minute drive to town. The 2-bedroom house was in a quiet residential neighborhood a block off the highway. Cozy, charming, and clean house. Nice sized kitchen and living room. Neighborhood was quiet at night and beds were comfortable. The shower is over a claw foot tub so ingress/egress could be an issue for someone with mobility issues. The host was very responsive. We would stay there again.

Relaxing getaway
This house was in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the welcoming Trenary Tavern and three churches (Methodist, Catholic, and Lutheran). We really enjoyed peaceful, quiet evenings here. Perfect for relaxing after hiking and kayaking at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and exploring Munising and other nearby adventures.

My two sons and I (ages 5 & 8) visited the U.P. for a 3 day weekend. I chose this location because it's centrally located and conveniently located. It was safe, clean, and inviting. My sons loved called it our vacation for the during of our stay. I couldn't have had a better experience.

Great place in a central location
This place is really centrally located to Marquette, pictured rocks, as well as Escanaba so if you’re unsure where your travels will take you in the UP this is a really great place to stay. The house itself is very quiet and is Decorated in a really fun way. We loved all the really positive messages that were all over the house. The water pressure was absolutely fabulous. Everyone in the town that we met was friendly and waved and welcomed us into town. Every morning we wake up smelling cinnamon toast as the trenary bakery is just down the street, and why you can’t buy bakery items from them there’s a little gas station on the edge of town that sells their wonderful cinnamon rolls and finnish cinnamon toast. The Wi-Fi at this location is not great however we took this week to really unplug so it didn’t matter too much to us. But if you’re trying to do a working vacation Wi-Fi is not going to work for the zoom calls that you might need to do. The cellular service in the area is outstanding and so we didn’t have any problem making calls or doing what we needed to do on our phone or doing a hotspot off our phone. One night when we were out walking our dogs we ran across a fox on one of the nearby roads which was really fun to see. We would stay here again

All good but the internet
This was a comfortable place to stay with good access to Pictured Rocks. Our only complaint is that the listing said there was internet and a Roku. However they didn’t work. There was a note that service was poor this time of year. It was pretty nonexistent which disrupted our plans to watch the Bucks in the NBA playoffs. Very disappointing.

Great long weekend stay
We stayed here for a hiking adventure with our 2 dogs and had the best experience! Another couple was supposed to join but ended up just us and we still had a great time, this was the perfect house for us! Loved the decor and location!! Communication with owner was great. Highly recommend!
