"We were looking for one last trip together before the baby comes. The cottage at the Open Hearth Inn was perfect. A very comfortable, warm space with all the amenities we needed. While Acadia is not as close a walk as we thought it would be, it was a close drive. We are very happy we stayed there and hope to be returning some day with a bigger family. "

"Christopher and Julie were fabulous. Very knowledgeable about the area and excellent recommendations for restaurants. Rooms were very spacious and we were pleasantly surpised when we returned our first night and found out beds made and fresh towels (so few places cleannthe room and make beds for a two night stay.
The location was easy walking distance from downtown and a short ride from Acadia.
I would definitely recommend this property."
"Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Always checking to see if anything was needed as we passed the desk. Loved the room and the bed was very comfortable. If we come back to the area we will definitely try to stay at the Little Fig. Have already recommended to friends who may be in area in fall."
