The Atlantic puffins return to the coastal areas starting from April for breeding. They nest in clifftop colonies, digging a burrow in soft soil. 

The good thing is they are not afraid of humans at all. On the contrary they are aware that their predators, sea gulls, are afraid of humans, thus the puffins move freely when humans are around. “What an amazing find…a beautifully maintained hotel in the heart of one Scotland’s most beautiful places. The rooms are a good size but the attraction is that they are exquisitely decorated and well-equipped. There are no staff on the premises but the rooms are serviced each day and the amazing variety of breakfast ingredients (including locally-sourced smoked salmon and cheeses as well as granola, fresh rolls, croissants and preserves, juice etc.)”

“I absolutely loved my stay here! It was very easy to find, staff were very communicative, and it was convenient to everything I wanted to do. Most of all, it was extremely quiet and peaceful, with an unbeatable view every morning. The nearby inn offered great food and friendly service for dinner, and the store was also convenient for snacks and coffee. I would most definitely stay there again. ”
