"Perfect location between Ontonagan and the porcupine mtns. It was the perfect place to relax after hiking all day or visiting town. We also had a great time looking for yooperlites, unfortunatley we didnt find any but there is always next time!"

"place was clean and convenient to trails. Floors are uneven and very easy to trip on. All six of us were over 60 and could not figure out the TV, no big deal as we weren't there for that. One of the chairs at table was broke and there was only 2 sets of keys for the place. There is no hand rail on stairs to the upstairs.Deck is large and nice to sit on. Grill is large but does not get very hot for some reason"

"This property is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet and nature! We love to cook, so the kitchen and the grill provided us with everything we needed. We used the wood-burning stove for a cozy warm fire at night and we built a beautiful campfire outside as the snow fell! "Stayed at this property for a ski weekend at the local resort. It was a great location (10 min drive both to the ski resort and the local town). We appreciated the opportunity to have a peaceful and beautiful place to stay that was away from the ski resort crowds. Our kids loved the games that the host had making s’mores in the firepit near the lake. The house is beautifully done. There was a maintenance concern (beeping fire alarm) during our stay but the host promptly addressed the issue....

"This house was amazing! We got snowed in and were very comfortable with 15 of us and a dog in the space for 5 days. The hot tub was great and there was plenty of space and amenities to keep us busy. "Beautiful location! Great house! Wonderful hiking options. This house is an awesome option for anyone looking to celebrate anything or to just get away with a large family or group. The 15 foot Christmas tree was the icing on the cake for all of us! Heads up- there is no wifi/internet. "I’ve stayed at these cabins regularly growing up. I was pleasantly surprised by how the new owner updated the property. The cabin was clean and welcoming. And the space was perfect as a main gathering area for the larger family. I had a little bit of trouble finding the right cabin because they all have the same address. I also had some trouble with the keypad lock but I think this was my fault. The great thing was that the owner answered my calls right away and was very friendly and helpful....
