We had a little difficulty with the lockbox (probably because both my husband and I have arthritis in our hands). The lake is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed evenings by the fire pit enjoying the lake. Great location as we visited the shipwreck museum and Mackinac Island. We also spent a day just enjoying the cabin, the lake, and watching movies. We thought we would miss internet but really enjoyed not having it. We wished that there was a bathroom on the main level as going up and down the stairs was trying for two people in their 70s. We really enjoyed our stay here. Cabin was clean and had most everything in the description. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and we watched a couple of movies in the vcr. We had a fire outside every night and had fun in the kayaks. The only things we found negative were lack of hate for the stairs and no life jackets. Thankfully the lack is shallow for a ways. The walls are unfinished chip board (the manufacturer's stamps are visible) and an unfinished concrete floor. The upstairs railing didn't even look safe.
