"Cypress Knee Lodge was a great gathering place for our hiking group. After nearly 20 years we don't hike much anymore, we are more of a card playing group now! We enjoyed the space, the views, the location, and the accommodations in general. All of this prove to be important because it rained every day we were at Reelfoot Lake. Watching hundreds of pelicans, cormorants, coots, and various other ducks was an added bonus! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Jim!"

"We arrived very late, actually around 5:30am for our Friday night stay. Drove from Chicago to Union City to make it to UTM football by 11AM but had to wait for my son’s Friday night football game to end so we could get on the road. Building is very easy to find, the front desk let us pay over the phone and check-in since we knew we were going to check-in very late. When we arrived, the lady at the front desk was quick and within minutes my son and I were in our room sleeping. Breakfast had good options, changed a few things each morning and there is a delicious Italian restaurant next door. On Sunday, I woke up to a flat tire on my rental and had to wait hours to find help and get the tire changed. I was surprised they wouldn't let me pay for late check out when it didn't seem busy so we waited outside most of the day but other than that, the rooms were clean, safe, quiet, and a good price. "
