"Very tricky to get parked as the pull in outside was cordoned off by the hotel. The actual parking is behind and below the hotel. The bed was lovely but the bathroom was not so clean and shower drain blocked. Staff lovely and friendly "

"Ample parking at the hotel, lovely warm, clean room too. Food was great with good choices for both an evening meal and breakfast. Will happily stay again when in the area."
"We stopped for a single night and was amazed at the service we received, shown to our room and was very surprised on the size of out room....It was Huge.
Breakfast the next morning was made to order and a good array of item for breakfast, staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend."
"Very quiet and well appointed cottage. Only just big enough for a couple, so it was cozy in October, even without lighting the log burner. There is a pub restaurant in the village. In easy reach of attractions like Avebury and Cotswold country park and gardens - a rare dog-friendly zoo. There is a footpath up to the ridgeway where you can take a long walk to the chalk white horse carved into the hillside. Nice old towns like Cirencester are not too far. "
"Plenty of secure parking available, which was really convenient. I’ve eaten here before and the food is always amazing, though I didn’t dine in this time.
My room was lovely and had a quaint charm, with what felt like centuries of history built into it. I was given an upgrade, which was very comfortable, but unfortunately it was right on the road and could be quite noisy. The bathroom was a little dated, but still functional.
Overall, a characterful stay with great facilities—I’d happily return."
"A warm welcome after a harrowing journey. Ideal rooms for us and our dog. The pub itself is a vibrant and active place with a good selection of beers and super food."
