In my initial room the ac was not working, the tv was not connected to the internet so you could not watch tv, the room smelt musty and the chair covering was deteriorating. I was moved to another room, which the ac and tv did work. There was "pink mold" in the shower, pee on the bottom of the toilet and a black finger print on the door. The room also smelt musty.

The property is nice. Having only one elevator located near the lobby and far from some rooms is a bit inconvenient. Fair warning they have karaoke in the restaurant from 2 to 5 each Saturday which may be enjoyable for participants but doesn’t lead to a relaxing snack or afternoon drink

Stay was fantastic! Joseph at the front desk was amazing! Very helpful and friendly. We've stayed multiple times at the same hotel and they've upgraded since our last stay in September. Rooms are clean and roomy. Did not use the pool this time but looked clean.

First, I almost never leave negative reviews. It's not in my nature. And, importantly, hotel staff were awesome, friendly, and salt of the earth. Every interaction with them was positive. Also, the attached restaurant (not owned by the hotel) was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the free breakfast daily. The room condition, however, was shabby and dirty, despite being in the renovated section of the hotel. We had to keep the entry light off because it flickered nonstop. My white socks turned dark from walking on the plank floor. Next to the head of the bed, I picked up a crinkled dryer sheet (no big deal), only to find an old, dust-covered sleep mask that had been there for who knows how long. The shower floor was dirty and had long black hair from prior guests. Finally, the desk chair was in terrible shape. It was mind-boggling that any hotel would allow it in a room. It looked like something you would find on the side of the road with a "free" sign. It was a black vinyl-covered chair with 2/3 of the covering cracked and peeled off, leaving the white backing exposed underneath. When you sat in the chair, pieces of the covering would fall off onto the floor. I saw a photo of the chair (or a similar one?) in another review and similar reviews about cleanliness. I understand it can be hard to find workers, but if you can't keep the rooms clean, it would be smarter to book fewer rooms, ensuring repeat guests. It seems like solid management could come in and get things ship-shape.

Kudos should be given to the team that shot the pictures for their Expedia account. I thought I would have a bathtub. The gym has 3 pieces of equipment with no free weights and a broken glass in the door. My bathroom door had also been repaired but did not close completely. My desk chair was extremely worn. The place was clean. The staff was courtious. The owners need to invest in the up keep of the property. The associated restuarant honors 5 choices for a "free" breakfast or $4.00 off any other breakfast items.
