This was the perfect stay. The grounds were quiet, the casita was clean and had everything needed for a simple stay. The amenities such as the pool and hot tub were also clean, so much space for amazing relaxation and seeing myrtle the turtle was an amazing sight to see! Definitely making this my go to place every visit to Tucson.

Tucson casita A Horse Thief Ranch
Location and access to local stores and restaurants was good. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to walking trail. Outside sitting furniture needs cleaning and repair/replacement, hot tubs dirty and in need of updating. Kitchen, living room and bedroom lights flickered constantly, kitchen lighting dim, hard to see. Used toaster and lights dimmed. Carpet was very worn, couch dirty, sagging, needs to be replaced. Bathroom floor dirty, smelled like animal feces, the whole place had a strong animal odor. Removed mattress pad, too dirty to sleep on. Quilt was torn. WiFi and dish tv were spotty at best, worse during rain showers. No instructions on how to use tv remotes, had to call host and have her talk us through resetting system. Would not recommend for the price.

What a charming location! In town for the shows and this was a perfect place for us to relax! The courtyards, walking trails and hot tub, perfect! Right next to Sabino Canyon, don’t miss this adventure! The communication with Kendra was excellent and we will definitely be back!

Loved Horse Thief Ranch and the casitas. Had our own space and enjoyed coming together in main house. Everything was provided and walking trail nearby was appreciated. Enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, use of bicycles. Close to stores. Would come back again!

Kendra and Keith are genuine, amazing, and made our stay at the Ranch memorable. The facility is homey, authentic, restful, clean, and offers an unforgettable experience. Kendra met us at the entrance and instantly made us feel at home. Keith took every opportunity to chat and show us around. Plus he was super friendly with our dog Rowdy. The place was exactly as advertised and we will make every opportunity to join them again when we can.

Anniversary Surprise!!
WOW - this place was absolutely stunning. I booked this property last minute, almost, to surprise my husband on our recent anniversary. It worked out BEAUTIFULLY!! The GH casita here at Catalina Foothills in Tuscon was very well put together. The spa tub and shower was AMAZING!! The bed was super comfortable and honestly the whole place was clean and welcoming with a well thought out design and an interior aspect that was extremely inviting. THANK YOU!!

It was okay. The inside was too small for a family of 4. It would be better for maybe two people.
It was okay. The outside was great for my dog. It was just too small inside for a family of 4. There were some pillow and towels missing. The porch bushes were over grown. The owners were nice and very helpful. The location was great.

Comfortable quarters
Easy place for us to base our bikes from. We rarely ran into other guests and when we did they were all friendly. No noisey neighbors and the communal area was welcoming. The folks taking care of the property were great. We would consider coming back here.
