The room was dirty. The bathroom wasn't clean, and the toilet seat was broken. The floor felt dirty and hadn't been vacuumed. The microwave oven was broken. I was looking forward to checking in and taking a shower, but not in that tub, which was grey and stained, with some hair of a previous guest. Really, the dirtiest place I've ever stayed. In the morning, at 7am, the janitor started yelling loudly on the phone from the next room, complaining about something. The front desk person was nice. Otherwise, this was a nightmare. If it hadn't been 11pm when I checked in, I'd have demanded my money back and left.

I stayed in this hotel for one night while traveling through New Mexico back to Texas. The room and bath were both clean and well-kept. The furniture was comfortable, the A/C worked well, and the TV satellite service worked well. The hotel and adjacent area was pretty quiet. The breakfast of eggs, sausage and potatoes was pretty good as well. It was a great experience overall. I highly recommend this hotel.
