Hotel is located right at the heart of Tunis city centre that makes accessibility to main attractions such as old Madina very easy. I visited in April which is a warm month of the year. Temperature was between 25 c to 31 c. However there was no air conditioning available. When asked, I was told that it could not be turned on until its really hot which I found rather odd. Nevertheless, helpful and polite staff more than made up for it. For the compatible price I paid and it‘a location, I would highly recommend this place.

The facility was more modern that some of the hotels in Tunis and was an excellent value. It was very clean and the reception desk guys were great and very helpful with advice. The location was excellent--within a short walk of the medina and the train train station. Bed was comfortable and had a nice comforter. Overall it was a great choice. My minor concerns: No English channels such as CNN. No after-shower lotions. Heat was weak (March). I would stay there again.

Hotel Tiba was a great choice for me. The staff at the reception is friendly, very helpful, and speak English well. The room is in excellent shape although the view from the window was into a back alley. The location is top, right next to the medina and Boulevard Habib Bourguiba.
