Tybee Dunes Oceanfront is a beach lover's dream. It is located right on the beach where the Atlantic Ocean meets the shore. It features historic charm, modern amenities, and with a complete renovation to give you luxury surroundings with the classic look and feel of a 1920s craftsman-style beachfront house. Enjoy gorgeous and unobstructed 360 ocean views from all second-story rooms, including the oceanfront porch. Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, bed and bath linens, charcoal grill, and beach toys for all ages, including a billiards table on the ocean porch, are included with your stay. Are you feeding a crowd? The billiards table easily converts into an additional dining table ready to meet your entertaining needs.

After a day full of sun and fun, sit back and enjoy the home theater, which includes a 70-inch smart TV with a subwoofer in the great room and one in the primary bedroom. Tybee Dunes' airy layout comprises five bedrooms and three baths and comfortably sleeps 12. There is a king bed in the primary bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a bunk room that sleeps 4. The lower level of the home includes two queen bedrooms with separate covered outdoor entrances for added privacy and seclusion. PLEASE NOTE: The staircase between the two levels is also under the covered outdoor area and not accessible from the interior of the home.

The kitchen and breakfast area opens to the living room and ocean porch and features new modern touches like white cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. An additional refrigerator is located in the fully appointed laundry room. There are several screened and covered outdoor sitting and play areas for you and your guests to spread out comfortably and enjoy.

A host of outstanding restaurants and local shops is just a short walk from the house. Bike and golf cart rentals are also nearby, along with playgrounds and a disk golf course, and the beach is located right out the back door.

Great location to the beach! Nice and clean. Two bedroom are detached from home, not ideal. Absolutely under stocked with toiletries, cleaning supplies, trash bags, etc. no beach towels. For the cost, expected more.

Great location!

The house is amazing and is well kept. The pool table was the best part and it was fun to play pool as a family the whole weekend. The host was great in communicating and provided everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely book this house again, the beach is right there!

Clean and great location

House worked perfect for our bachelorette trip. Great location right on the beach, caught some amazing sunrises. Could have used more paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags.

Great property, would stay again

The property is direct beachfront and located conveniently near many attractions and restaurants on Tybee. It was perfect for our group of 6 and could comfortably sleep more in 5 bedrooms. The screened porch overlooking the ocean was a great spot to hang out! Kitchen was well equipped, property was clean and as advertised. Beautiful house and we had a great weekend!

Amazing Location

Amazing house located in a perfect location close to shops and restaurants. Absolutely everything you need for the beach is provided and then some. The screened porch on the top level with the pool table was heaven. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay on Tybee Island

We really enjoyed this house during our stay on Tybee Island. The house was clean and all the bedrooms were great! We loved walking on the beach and walking to some restaurants or taking a short drive to shopping and other restaurants. Would definitely recommend this rental to others.

Fabulous location

The house was spacious and perfectly situated on the beach but close to many restaurants! We had 3 boys under 5 and it was perfect! If we werent at the beach, then we were on the porch listening to the beach watching the cargo ships. It is also so close yo Savannah! Highly recommended!

Reviewer Comments: Perfect location and view. Kind of odd with downstairs bedrooms facing outdoors. There were NO supplies; bought toilet paper, garbage bags, laundry detergent, papwer towels, etc. KInda stingey with one towel per person, no beach towels - at a beach cottage. Location and room for lots of people.

Awesome Rental on the ocean

Beautiful home with tons of natural light and view of the ocean. All the amenities and outside seating for the perfect relaxing vacation. This home is up to date with a beautiful relaxing decor. Our family had a really nice time in this vacation rental. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely spot!! My favorite thing was the location and watching the cargo ships coming and going! Well appointed rental! Beds were mostly comfortable. Could've used more hand towels and kitchen towels, so we bought some new ones and left them there. Great beach equipment! Rental agency was very accommodating with any requests! We would definitely return here!!!

Great Location for Multi-Generational Families

Great place to stay with different age groups! We had everything from 76-13 and there was room for all. Put the big kids downstairs since they tend to stay up later... I was a little worried about noise but that was not an issue at all. The beach is super close, but it was a little difficult for my 76yo Dad, to make it over the dune. Outdoor space was great, and everyone enjoyed the pool table. Plenty of seating for everyone... including a big table for family dinners. Lots of beach toys, chairs, umbrellas... we didn't wish for anything. Lovely place to stay and I would highly recommend.

Beautiful Home & View!

This was our first year taking our family trip to Tybee Island and I must say this was the perfect house for my family! The house was very clean when we arrived and you cannot top the view of the ocean from every window. You also watch the sun rise on the covered deck with coffee in hand and you are in your happy place! We even got to see dolphins swimming a few of the days! It was great that they had all beach accessories for all 10 of us including the wagon to take those items to the beach. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook with. The location is also within walking distance to many restaurants and the local grocery store. I really can’t say enough about this home, it was prefect!

disappointing

the property location is great. but the listing and pricing leads one to believe that the service level would be commensurate with what is advertised. the house cleanliness was ok. nothing to be excited about. the kitchen was small. lots of routine maintenance issues, the best part of the home is the beach access and the upstairs screened deck. The big reason for the poor rating was the real lack of caring service by the property management folks and ultimately the owner who was getting income from our stay. During our second full day of the rental, we returned from the beach around noon and found the AC not working at all. With an infant and a house full, with temps in the 90s and 90% humidity IN THE HOUSE.. this was a big issue. Not enough space in this review box to tell the whole sad saga, but the important thing is that it took over 24 hours (the following day) to finally get an AC Tech from an HVAC company to come fix the AC. It only took them about 90 minutes to get cool air running for us. There was such poor communication from the property manager. When I called it seemed like just an answering service. Ownership and management should be prepared to spend what it takes to get an emergency AC tech to a property rental. There should always be one on call. All the guests except my wife and I had to go to a hotel for one of our nights. It was 24 hrs of aggravation and additional costs. I felt taken advantage of: Poor service in exchange for paying for beach access.

We stayed here while our daughter ran a marathon in Savannah and it was the perfect place—we drove into Savannah for the race day but enjoyed our beach time otherwise. Only thing missing was a big soup ladle we needed for dinner one night but we managed. We’d stay there again anytime! Thank you for providing us such a nice place to make fun family memories!

The location could not have been better - just a short walk to the beach and an even shorter walk to the ice cream shop which the grandkids loved! There were plenty of beach supplies (chairs, toys etc) and the kitchen was well stocked. Unfortunately we were there during Tropical storm Debby which caused a small leak in the living room. We contacted property management and they sent maintenance out within a few hours. Storm aside, it was a wonderful week at Tybee and we would definitely stay at this property again.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Didn’t realize that lower bedrooms were exposed to the elements. Bathrooms were away from the bedrooms making it risky. We also found the dryer to be inoperative and staff did not repair during our stay. We had to hang clothes on a line we created. The upstairs area was fine but they should highlight the lower bedrooms are not. Fans are connected to lights so if you wish to be fanned you tolerate the light. We also found a black snake in the lower level. Overall very disappointing and they should fix the dryer or let new renters know. I will not be coming back.

Private walkway to the beach, private backyard, incredible neighbors! The house was stocked with anything and everything you could ever need for the beach, anything from sand shovels, to beach chairs, to ocean kayaks. The house itself was incredible clean and modern, and overall would 100% recommend staying here! Also, very close to convenience stores, gas stations, restaurants, brewery, etc...

We enjoyed 9 & 1/2 months in the home (over 2 yrs).Watching the ships is why we stayed there. Only one draw back is that the ground floor is open to the weather and impossible to keep clean. We are sure that in the summer months though it is an enjoyable place to be. Thank you for the opportunity to rent it.
