Uayamon Vacation Packages

Take the time to visit Uayamon, in an area that is known for its beaches, coastal plains and forests.

Staying in only one place, regardless of its popularity, usually only offers you a narrow glimpse into the broader qualities of a region. So be sure to set aside enough time to tour Campeche's other natural and man-made attractions. Interesting places within a relatively short distance of Uayamon are Villa Madero, 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the northeast, and Champoton, 30 miles (48 kilometers) to the northeast.

Campeche is 15 miles (24 kilometers) from Uayamon. This center contains a wide range of things to see and do, including Jaina Island Mayan Historic Site, Campeche Cathedral and Puerta de Tierra. Ensure you don't return to Uayamon until you've checked out Campeche's Fuerte de San Miguel, Ex Templo de San Jose and Iglesia del Cristo Negro.

This area is well known for its many ruins; these are often portals into the area's colorful history. Discover Uayamon's religious side by spending a little quiet time at the region's churches and other sites of spiritual significance.

This spot has some great places for fishing, so be sure you leave time to fit that in. Sea kayaking is another popular activity here. Have you ever wondered if you'd be brave enough to have a go at paragliding? This area is a great place to do it.

When it is time to depart Uayamon, put the lens cap back on your camera, spend your last of your Mexican pesos, and bid a fond Adiós (farewell) to this unique destination.
