The cabin overlooked the bay, giving us a pristine view each morning and evening. The interior of the cabin was cozy and warm, with all the amenities we could ask for. The trees stretching over the docks made for a perfect roosting spot for eagles young and old - each morning we'd be greeted to at least one, and on one day we saw eight perched in the trees! It was also a convenient location for walking into town and checking out some nearby local beaches. We also made ample use of the hot tub, which was a highlight! The tub on the deck was a treat after our days of cycling. Private & relaxing! The location is easy to find and easy to get around from. Even in the rain, cozy! Our host was accomodating and helpful, letting us park our bikes undercover. It has a nice waterfront view and is walking distance to many trails, restaurants and right next door to a fantastic fish market. On the down side I was not happy that someone came into our personal space while we were away (being our gated and latched deck) to empty the recycle bin without giving notice they would be doing so. Just a quick text to let us know would have been nice. Cozy, clean, and the location was amazing! We took full advantage of the jet tub on the deck, watched a bear swim across the channel on our first morning, and many, many bald eagles. Close to everything, yet secluded. Marilyn was super responsive via text and left us coffee, cream, and English muffins for our stay.
