"My husband and I stayed at the steamboat inn for 1 night to explore Jefferson, TX since we were in the area for a wedding. The staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was great! Our room and bathroom was very clean and decorated beautifully."

"Thank you for the easy check in and out. I would have preferred cotton bed sheets but otherwise everything was in order. The $95 pet fee was unexpected though."

"Great location to boat ramp, was able to use one of the boat slips overnight. Room was clean, had everything listed there. Water pressure for the shower was awesome, especially after a long hot day out on the lake."

"As far as the cleanliness, I feel like the room should’ve been cleaned when we arrived yet the beds were not made. They still had dirty blankets and the room itself was not real clean, but it wasn’t horrible either I love this place. I will say that I would definitely go back many more times it’s a cabin so it’s to be expected that it’s not going to be 100%. I just felt like when we arrived the bed should’ve been made with clean blankets and all rather than having to ask someone to come and do it. There was plenty of parking safe parking where we could park in front of the door. It’s pet friendly a beautiful atmosphere. I would suggest this place to anyone very peaceful and other than a couple of things I would give this place five stars. As far as getting a hold of the owners, it isn’t the easiest thing but I know they were probably very busy getting it fixed up and preparing for the holiday. Great place and highly recommended for a gorgeous and peaceful adventure!"
