"Amazing breakfast daily & Spa services are amazing! I would recommend that they learn how to properly make American cocktails! Used white Rum for a Pina Colada. Should be spiced Rum. Only carried one Bourbon variety. Hire the Bartender from the bar right next to the sports bar on the beach. Perfect cocktails and beautiful garnishes. "

"A great hotel: Very clean throughout Very nice rooms, comfy beds, air condiyioning, modern bathroom, kettle and fridge, TV, lovely views from balcony (room was sold as a partial seaview although it was a great view onto the harbour - room 110). Rooftop pool area was a lovely area to relax, with a bar selling food and drink (a little pricey). Breakfast was very good. Ideal location, steps away from the harbour, restaurants, bars and coastal walks. 5 minutes away from where the boats depart for Dubrovnik and to neighbouring villages of Mlini and Sebreno."

"Wonderful host who answered questions along the way and made you feel very welcome . Cavtet is a gem and a beautiful place in Croatia and the B&B is the best place to be part of it. Excellent breakfast also. "

"The property is amazing everything was immaculate and spotlessly clean.Stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment had spectacular views of the town and Dubrovnik in the distance.The pool area was a little oasis with a fantastic clean pool and well kept gardens a wonderful seating area under a large wooden gazebo to sit for a little shade. Now about the owner Pero what a true gentleman always on hand to see if you needed anything which we didn't as everything was supplied down to dishwasher washing machine iron and ironing board.Pero and his lovely little boy also took us all back to the airport on our departure Really didn't want to write a fantastic review as would like this little gem to be kept a secret but i would be really just being selfish. Deserves a 5 star.So 10/10 for Villa Alegria and thank you for a wonderful stay."

"Rooms are nice and clean, apartment is a bit dated. Beds very comfortable and ample space. Walking distance to everything. The only challenge is communication. Owners are lovely and try very hard but speak only Croatian. They use a booking company that speaks English but whenever you call, there is a wait and as they manage many properties you have to give your reservation details every time you call and you will call! It’s very hard to find as you don’t get the exact address. They had to contact owners to get that for me once I arrived in town and owner did not answer so I just had to wait and wait and wait. I also tried calling on my own with no luck. When I finally got through, we could not understand each other so I had to initiate 3-way call and start from the beginning with my reservation number. Frustrating after a long flight and confusion with parking all in the dark When I finally found the place owner gave me an apartment when I actually booked a room. 10 minutes later he knocked on my door and said wrong room but stay, no extra charge. I offered to change rooms. He said stay. Next day other people arrived who were also frustrated with arrival who had booked apartment and they asked me to move in my the middle of the day and did give me a choice of rooms which were all nice. Now that I know where the place is located, I would stay again, quiet with lovely views of marina. Pack patience and employ a sense of adventure however for your arrival. "
