Hotel Gracery Shinjuku

Hotel Gracery Shinjuku

8/10 Good
"The hotel is very convenient for all of the attractions in Shinjuku and the subway. Loved the cinema downstairs. The staff were always very attentive and focused on ensuring the best possible service. The rooms are on the smaller side (even for Tokyo) and we weren’t able to go near the Godzilla statue to take a photo as the area is blocked off. The breakfast place (Sizzler) was expensive and not that good"

"Perfect finale to our trip! Amazing perks and family-friendly service. This was the absolute highlight of our trip before heading back home to California! This was our second stay here, and the hotel never disappoints our family. Thanks to our Expedia member status, we were given a fantastic room upgrade (Room 1016) and free parking, which saved us about 3,000 yen. They also granted us a late check-out at 12:00 PM, giving us plenty of time to pack up and rest before our long flight home. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal, the facilities were incredibly clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They even hosted a kids' event where our children won a great free prize! Just keep in mind that during peak evening hours, there can be a bit of a wait for the elevators. Our only minor critique is regarding the in-room massage service. They were only able to send one therapist to accommodate both me and my husband back-to-back. The therapist was an older woman, and by the time it was my turn, she was clearly exhausted and gasping for breath. I felt too bad to ask for deeper pressure because she had already worked so hard on my husband. I really hope the hotel considers providing two therapists at once for couples in the future. Payment was easy, though, as they accept cash, credit, or charging it to the room bill. Despite the massage logistics, we absolutely love this hotel and will definitely be staying here again!"

Shinjuku Granbell Hotel

Shinjuku Granbell Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Loved my stay at the Granbell. As a solo traveller this was exactly what I needed. It was close to public transportation and easy to get to from Narita by airport bus limousine. I loved the amenities and breakfast had so many options. Be warned the single rooms are a bit on the smaller side. I had to get creative storing my luggage."
