Mama Bear - Three Bedroom House, Sleeps 10

This beautiful rancher style cabin is perfect for families of all ages. The open concept is accented by high vaulted ceilings and the patio offers enough room to enjoy each meal while embracing the valleys gorgeous surroundings. Our Mama Bear cabin allows our guests to feel remote while being just minutes from town.

*Pet are permitted at this property for an additional fee. Please inform us if you would like to include your furry friend in your booking.

Mama Bear (1959 Cranberry Place)

FROM EDMONTON - Travel west on Hwy 16 (Yellowhead Hwy) until you arrive at the junction in Tete Jaune Cache. Travel south on Hwy 5 towards Kamloops. Go through the main intersection with all the gas stations. Continue past the Coop Cardlock on Hwy 5 south. Turn left on 17 Ave (if you go past the Best Western you have gone too far). Take your first right onto Cranberry Place. Go to almost the end of Cranberry Place the cabin is on the left. The address 1959 Cranberry Place and is posted on a blue sign that says "Whisper Creek Cabin Rental and Builders". Be sure to check the sign, as there are a few cabin rentals on this road.

FROM KAMLOOPS - Travel north on Hwy 5. Go past the Best Western (it will be on your right). Take a right on to 17th Ave, and then take your first right onto Cranberry Place. Go to almost the end of Cranberry Place the cabin is on the left. The address 1959 Cranberry Place and is posted on a blue sign that says "Whisper Creek Cabin Rental and Builders". Be sure to check the sign, as there are a few cabin rentals on this road.


OFFICE - Continue down Cranberry Place until the road turns left into Canoeview Place. Follow to the very end to 1170 Canoeview Place (in the cul-de-sac).

Gorgeous home in the mountains!
6 of us came to celebrate an early Christmas together with a family member. I was so pleasantly surprised when I walked through the door of the Mama Bear cabin. Open, bright, spacious ……gorgeous! The living area and kitchen are perfect for a larger group. The kitchen is fully stocked, so we cooked some awesome meals. The bedrooms are large and the beds are super comfortable. I would most definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful cabin in a great setting! The kitchen is well stocked and the rooms and beds are so comfortable clean and spacious! Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!

Large, clean, modern cabin. Perfectly suited for a snowmobile getaway with purpose-built boot room complete with dryers. Excellent parking for vehicles and trailers. Couldn't have asked for anything better.

Excellent as always!
This is our second time staying in these cabins and it is always wonderful. One suggestion we would make is for the rooms to have reading lamps next to the beds in this particular unit. As always, beautiful, quiet, relaxing!

Mama Bear Cabin in Valemount
I liked this cabin very much. Loved the large family room and open room with the kitchen. Rooms were large and comfortable. Valemount is nice - check out the Swiss Bakery. They have some local hiking trails which is nice. The covered porch and tables and the Grill were a nice feature. Overall I really liked the place and would be happy to stay there again.

Wonderful cabin outside of Jasper
Really nice cabin situated in Valemount BC, not exactly next door but still a very manageable drive from Jasper National Park. The cabin had plenty of sleeping and living space for our group of 5 adults plus a fully equipped kitchen and great laundry facilities. The local town of Valemount has some decent restaurants and grocery store options. The on-line manager, Diane, was very responsive and helpful with her communication and we were greeted shortly after our arrival by a local manager who gave us a thorough rundown of the property and surrounds. Definitely recommend this property for sightseeing in Eastern BC and Western Alberta.

Awesome Property!!
We had an awesome stay. Very spacious, well equipped cabin. Great place to come back to after a full day of sledding and relax in. Lots of space to hang up wet clothes and great boot dryer system to have you ready to go the next day. Highly recommend if your planning to stay in Valemount check these units out!!
