Valenca Vacation Packages
From Valenca, the well-known city of Rio de Janeiro is 55 miles (89 kilometers) to the southeast.
Valenca is ringed by interesting towns and cities all waiting to be enjoyed. Avelar and Miguel Pereira are just two of the many other places you may wish to visit while you're in Bahia.
Around 40 miles (64 kilometers) to the southeast of Valenca is Petropolis, an important regional center and the home of Bohemia Brewery, Free Flight Ramp of Simeria and Barao de Maua House. Imperial Museum, Itapaiva Castle and Petropolis SENAI are also well-worth checking out while you are here.
Should the weather turns nasty; don't worry, Bahia is home to a range of history museums, art museums and craft workshops, that'll keep you and your family happily occupied. This area is well known for its many traditional villages; these are often testaments to the area's rich history.
Wildlife watching and picnicking are just some of the many low stress activities in the Bahia area. This area has a number of excellent places for canoeing, so make sure you leave time to fit that in. Swimming is another popular watersport here.
You'll be sad to bid "Adeus" (farewell) to this unique area.
