“We spent a couple days exploring the Buffalo River area and were looking for a nice hotel to base our trip out of. The lobby looks immaculate in the pictures, and the lobby was probably the best feature of the hotel. The staff wasn’t terribly helpful, the rooms were small and oddly arranged, their breakfast consisted of granola bars, there was no convenient food reasonably close, and the rooms felt dated and worn. I understand that this hotel was built in the 20’s, but I was expecting it to have……

“I booked online obviously. I called and the guy Patel on the line started yelling at me before I even arrived. I wanted to check in early if possible. I over looked it and showed up after the call. Im going to skip the run down on it being worn out and dirty and depressing. Like the mini fridge has a pawn shop price tag on it still. I went in the room and sat at the table digging through my bag for evening clothes. A live bed bug crawled onto my bag. Instinctively I blew it off my bag. I……

“Very comfortable”

“The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee. The breakfast had a good variety of offerings. On the downside, there was no place to hang clothes and we could hear talking next door although not what was said.”

“My only complaints are small. I was told it was a heated pool but it was freezing. Breakfast was out for a while and all the food was dry and not pleasant to eat. But better than many other hotels. Other than that an above average experience.”

“The cabin was amazing; beautiful and very clean. Everything we needed was provided, including foil, plastic wrap, baggies, etc. most places we have stayed did not provide these things. We especially loved using the fire pit and were glad that the fire wood was provided.”

“Cute clean cabin in a secluded setting. The gravel road to the cabin was good, directions were great. Loved the fresh baked bread waiting for us.”
