The only reason for not giving the 5 stars in listing pics was we thought it was more secluded from the pictures. It wasn't an issue for us, we were away from the property with friends that have a home in the area. We enjoyed our stay very much."

It is right off the scenic byway but tucked away from the road in a very well-groomed area surrounded by trees, making it feel like we were miles away from anyone. "We just needed a lil overnighter in The Ozarks & this spot was perfect. We spent our two days swimming at nearby Pruitt & Jasper (driving just a couple miles to one of the nicest bodies of water in this country is an INSANE gift!). The facilities were all great, we had no issues. Everything was really clean & cozy. Would happily stay here again and if the other cabin on site is rentable would even consider getting a group together!"

"This place is a gem, best deal in the area. It’s big and has 4 beds, a couch, a rocking chair and a table that can seat 6. There are also outdoor tables and a charcoal grill. The place is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped with pots, utensils, and plates, there’s even a deep fryer and a crockpot. There’s only 2 restaurants in town so this was a must for us. "We enjoyed our stay in this historic house. It is what it says.. 120 yrs old with eclectic decor. The owner had all the AC units on and cooled off the house before we arrived which was much appreciated. We enjoyed all of the porches/screened in rooms as well as the huge bedrooms and comfy beds. It was a great fit for our group and the dogs. The backyard could definitely use some TLC and wasnt very accessible with all the over growth but the dogs didnt mind. Overall we enjoyed our stay."
