But to honor the name, furniture in the rooms needs to be updated and better maintained, and staff at the restaurants should be better trained and have more experience (though Ariana was very nice and attentive). "Little gem of a place. I stayed here as I had tickets to the F1 race in Monza and was looking for affordable accommodation. This was a lovely surprise, just minutes by foot to the Lago di Garda. The staff was fantastic: they even made a cold plate for me, when I arrived after the race, just minutes after the kitchen closed. I would definitely come back next time I’m in the area. "
