"We stayed at Portou House for 5 nights and had an excellent time. Very good location in Chania Old Town. Communication was great from start to finish with Julia being very responsive. We were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine for my Partner’s birthday which was a nice touch. The only feedback we would have is that there was no full length mirror - think it would be good to consider including in the rooms. Many thanks Julia and team at Portou House. "

"Lovely old building, recently renovated right in the heart of the old town. This means transporting luggage a distance from the car but good communication re parking nearby. Inside the property, the duplex we were staying in meant climbing quite a lot of stairs with suitcases, although they did offer to help. "Spent 4 nights at the apartments. We stayed in July so were aware of the property. There were only us and another friendly couple staying here as it was getting to the end of the season. The rooms weren't cleaned during this time or fresh sheets and the bins weren't emptied. We disposed of the bathroom bin contents. We are aware there's no cleaner over the weekend, so maybe be provided with more bin bags and a bin to dispose of them in. We'd still happily stay here again."
