The vaporetto (water bus) Rialto stop is also very close (5 minutes), so you do not need to pull your trolleys up and down many bridges on arrival/departure. Plenty of restaurants, shops, supermarkets, cafes and bars are at hand to make your stay charming and easy going. Our apartment guide will reveal you the "secrets" of nearby area to experience the true Venice like a true Venetian. Though centrally located, the peaceful and private Corte de Ca' Amadi, once the courtyard of the XV Century Palace of the silk merchant family Amadi, with its ancient staircase and the marble well, is “far from the madding crowd" of the Venice grand-tour. The host communicated well before the trip, and offered useful advice on getting from the airport and places to visit during our stay. Approx. a 5 minute walk to Rialto. On location alone, this property is a 5 star. I removed a star due to a lack of basic amenities (paper towels, kitchen towels, kleenex, napkins).
