This is a perfect basecamp for an Okanagan holiday with easy access to all the great outdoor activities the Okanagan has to offer. The unit is within walking distance (200 m) of Okanagan Lake, tennis courts, swimming pool, hot tubs, hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking (Ellison Provincial Park) and road biking. It is a short drive to nearby golf destinations such as Predator Ridge and The Rise. It is a reasonable 40 km drive to Silver Star Mountain Resort for mountain biking and skiing.

Family outback trip
Unit is awesome for families - close to upper pool and tennis courts. Very comfortable, has everything you need! Owner super responsive and helpful to ensure a fantastic vacation! Outback is great with multiple pools, beach, marina and cliff jumps !! So much fun !!

Awesome location. Spent most of the trip at the pool near the dock and it was magical. Great spot for paddleboarding, kayaking and more. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay near Vernon
Really enjoyed our stay at Unit 106. Fantastic unit, clean and stocked with all the essentials and more. Amenities are great - swimming pools and a private beach. Close to Vernon for restaurants, golf, etc. Would highly recommend for friends or families travelling together who want a relaxing home base!

Beautiful Place
This is a really lovely property. The other owners in the area were very nice and hospitable, as was Jason who was very responsive and good to deal with. On several occasions deer visited the front yard of the house which our kids really loved. Unfortunately the wildfires cut our trip short but we look forward to trying again next summer And enjoying everything this property and resort has to offer.

Great place to stay
We had a wonderful time here. The house is pretty new and very clean. The kitchen is very well stocked, even a dishwasher! Bedrooms are nice and roomy with comfy beds. There are 2 outdoor areas you can sit. The walk to the beach is quite a trek because it's all up and downhill but there are usually people in golf carts willing to take you back up to your unit. Our unit was close to one of the pools and hottub, also tennis courts. We definitely would stay here again!

Wonderful time at the Outback
My girlfriend and I spent ten wonderful days at this vacation rental and can’t say enough good things. Two great pools, perfect access to the lake, and a fully stocked home that’s basically just ready to move in and enjoy. Communication with the owner, Jason, when necessary was quick and easy. We highly recommend this property and hope to return next year.

Everything we needed was there and more!
I almost hate to say how great this place was because I don’t want competition in renting. Comfy beds, great beach towels, all the staples and stuff you could ever want in the kitchen....even a birthday banner and candles! Easy to communicate with the owner. Complex has lots to do for families. Back next summer!

We tremendously enjoyed our stay at Jason's Outback property. The unit was clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped. The Outback setting is peaceful, quiet and surprisingly full of nature -ducks, deer, quail, (and hardly any bugs). We highly recommend it.

Jason & Maggie’s place is absolutely amazing! Our kids are 5 and 2 years old and we truly enjoyed!
We stayed for 5 nights and hoping to come back next year. The Outback Resort is so under-rated that most of the people we met want to keep this beautiful place a secret. I can’t blame them! Pools, hot tubs, hiking and cliff jumping to name a few. We rented bikes in Coldstream and did a 30km bike ride along the ‘Rail Trail’. If you are renting a chariot for kids, I highly recommend attaching it to an e-bike for an easier ride. The accommodation offered a beautiful spacious home that was well stocked in the kitchen and all the bathrooms. No issues of running out of any supplies. The house was so clean and comfortable, kudos to the cleaning staff! Like I said, most people wouldn’t even consider staying in Vernon over Kelowna but that’s because they just don’t know about Jason and Maggie’s place at the Outback Resort!

Jason was easy to get a hold of and quick to respond. The description and pictures of the property are right on point. It's what we expected and more - primarily due to the location of the resort. The opportunity to be secluded from everything was a much needed escape. Definitely a place to check out!

Super Home Super Resort
The home is everything you could want or need. Jason is excellent at responding to any of your concerns or questions. He gets back to you immediately. He even went out of his way to bring us a baby gate for the stairs. The location of this unit is close to a pool and hot tub. As well as convenient to the playground. While the outback is a little further from Vernon it is still only 15 minutes away. The three bedrooms are lovely and large , the bedding and pillows are comfortable and cozy. The whole feel of the unit is very modern and relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The bathrooms were large and well stocked with supplies. There is a washer and dryer, larger than most rental units and come with laundry supplies as well. This is a main floor unit with a large wraparound patio. There is a large outdoor table that seats six and a propane barbecue. It faces the trout pond where you can see ducks and birds. We had deer come up to our unit as well there are chipmunks and squirrels all about . We did not encounter any mice in or outside our unit. This unit only has another a unit attached to it but it is very private and feels secluded. The pool by the beach/lake/marina is very lovely with two hot tubs. The scenery and nature is spectacular. We loved The outback so much and this unit is in a very nice location as well as being well suited to us. Thanks so much to Jason for making our stay so pleasant.

We were overwhelmed with the Outback unit. Perfect for us (Grandparents & son, wife & 3 young boys).
Our landlord was available & responded to all our concerns. The unit was well stocked with a good supply of dishes & cooking/baking apparatus. The pool & playground was easily accessible. Our overall experience was excellent. We highly recommend this unit. Thank you for the beautiful accommodations. ❤️ PS: (as to a previous review). We encountered no mice.

Excellent vacation spot
This rental unit was perfect for our family vacation. Very well maintained and stocked. Our kids loved being situated so close to the upper pool (which was usually fairly quiet). The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. The Outback Resort itself is quite beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.
