Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites Charlottetown

"Nice breakfast. Very small bathroom. Carpet felt damp in the room for our entire 48hr stay"
The Arts Hotel
8/10 Good
"Room was very clean! We were a little surprised with the size of the room, definitely on the smaller side for two people. Perfect for a solo traveler though. Location was great, close to lots of great restaurants and fun things to do."
Charlottetown Inn & Conference Centre

"I booked this property because of the location and the kitchen. The location was close to everything. The kitchen was a disappointment. There was no toaster, kettle( I drink tea, not coffee), no frying pan and no tea towels to dry dishes. We requested the missing items and got 2 out of 4. We had to get a repair man to fix the TV. to watch news. They supplied coffee but no tea. The back entry door had to be propped open because the keycard didn’t work. All guests seemed to do this!! We reported this and were told that they would check it out. Same problem for 3 days! A bit worried about the security and how anyone could enter. There’s more..bathroom door didn’t close entirely and the side table drawer didn’t either. It’s the little things that make a difference. The bed was comfortable but the room was only made up once. juices, granola bars and fruit were replenished. That’s a very nice touch because breakfast isn’t provided and we couldn’t fry up eggs or bacon because there was no frying pan. Yes it was a big deal to us! Parking lot was handy at the back but if the door wasn’t propped open we had to walk to the front to get it. Forgot to mention coffee cups and lids didn’t match so no coffee for the road. Really loved PEI !!"

"Worst. Bed. Ever. Old, hard, lumpy. Hardly slept the entire stay."
Hampton Inn & Suites Charlottetown
10/10 Excellent
"Great Location, Clean Hotel & Excellent Amenities! We recently enjoyed a five-night stay at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Charlottetown, PEI, and had a great experience! The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Charlottetown, the marina, restaurants, shopping, and other amenities, with beautiful beaches just a 25–30-minute drive away. The property is clean and well-maintained, with friendly staff, a comfortable breakfast area, a welcoming lounge, and great amenities. We especially appreciated the on-site guest laundry, which was extremely convenient during our five-night stay. My only suggestion would be to add a second washer and dryer, as a hotel of this size could certainly benefit from having two of each. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a great home base for exploring Prince Edward Island. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Charlottetown!"
The Hotel on Pownal
8/10 Good
"The room was spacious and clean, and had a desk area. However, lighting in the room could be improved. It had a mini- refrigerator and a coffee machine. There is a continental breakfast included and a large breakfast room in the lobby but it was very busy with tour groups and a bit difficult to navigate ( I use a cane). Unfortunately, the sounds of a chair scraping across the floor above us very early in the morning were disturbing but the hotel could solve the noise problem easily by putting nylon glides on the chairs. The bathroom is small but has nice toiletries. They could use blinds or privacy film in the bathroom window as the curtains don’t fully conceal and the window faces another window. All in all though, this hotel is fairly close to all attractions and very walkable. I would recommend the Pownal hotel!"
