The house was so clean and well equipped. We came for a weekend to ski at wintergreen and really enjoyed our time. House is very spacious as well as the yard which included a great fire pit which was awesome after a day of skiing. Communication was top notch, check in/ out was easy.

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at the property! The home was nicely modernized, the hosts had great communication, the firepit was fun and the owners even left a nice bottle of wine for us upon arrival. The only reason I would give a 4/5 review is due to the level of cleanliness that I felt could have been better. The prior guest's food and trash was still in the kitchen when we arrived, and the floors could've used a vacuum mopping - nothing that can't be fixed for future stays. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay at this property!

Your search for the perfect rental home is at an end. Don't hesitate renting A View with a Room. This property was absolutely awesome. You couldn't ask for more. The host took into account everything you could possibly need during a stay for one night to over a week. The beds and living room furniture was comfortable. The property was clean, comfortable, spacious, and well supplied. The host provided a huge amount of supplies - Kitchen cleaning supplies, paper towels, Kleenex in almost every room, toilet paper, and on and on. I would stay here again and would recommend it to everyone I know visiting the area.

This is a wonderful property that is “out of town,” but still convenient to Crozet and Waynesboro. The amenities were great. Very clean. We spent a lot of time on the back porch and around the fire pit. Communication was easy and quick. All of that combined to make for a relaxing time where we could focus on our time together.

#### Perfect recharging getaway

Our stay at View with a Room was the perfect spot for a relaxing recharge. The location was ideal as it was close to several wineries, breweries and hiking trails. The house was well appointed with everything you could possibly need and very comfortable. We enjoyed having a few spots to sit and read books or watch tv or just chat. It was so nice to have towels and some toiletries already at the house that we didn't need to pack. The weather didn't cooperate at night for porch sitting or to use the firepit but we will just have to do that another time. We will be back!

Our family loved everything about this house. The location is perfectly situated with easy access to Waynesboro, Crozet, and Charlottesville. The amenities included in the house were over the top amazing, everything was so clean and Peter was so helpful with anything we needed/questions we had. Highly recommend this home!

#### So Amazing We Will Be Staying Again!

Not only was this place well priced it is so amazingly cute and has everything you could need for your stay in Afton. It was stocked with more than most places, one of our favorites was the wine fridge and the expresso maker! It has a gas grill and all the things needed to use it. The updated modern style of the inside of the house was so comfy and felt like home. We didnt get to use the firepit but plan to on our next stay at this beautiful home. Also, this place is like 2 minutes from Veritas and many other wineries! Lastly, the owners/managers were amazing with communication and checked on us as well. They were more than accommodating and provided better servuce then you get in a hotel! 10 out of 10 everyone who stayed the weekend would recommend! Thank you!

#### Visit to Monticello & Wine Country

Four crazy seniors out for a little adventure and sightseeing. The View with a Room is probably one of the best VRBOS we have stayed at to date. Very clean and spacious rooms. Fully stocked kitchen with just about anything you would need to cook or grill! The outdoor spaces were amazing! Lovely front porch and back deck. Our host Peter Was very helpful and quick to respond to any question we might have. We have all talked about booking the house again next year for a longer stay!

#### Ladies Wine Weekend 

We loved staying here! The owners were quick to communicate and we had a very simple check-in. The location was beautiful. We enjoyed all the local wineries and distilleries we could possibly fit in and then lit a fire to relax. We had a party of 8 and we fit in perfectly. The home is so cozy and beautifully decorated. 5 stars!.

#### Cozy Home with Beautiful Mountain View

Very nice home with great extras like radiant heat flooring for the bathrooms gives the place a luxurious touch. Nice big kitchen and gorgeous Mountain views close to Veritas Winery and Blue Mountain Brewery. Highly recommend staying at this wonderful home. Peter and the management group were fantastic to work with.

#### Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay in Afton! The house is newly renovated, clean and has lots of supplies. We enjoyed our time on the peaceful porch and utilized the firepit at night to make smores. Firewood was provided and the hanging outdoor lights were really nice. It's conveniently located to many breweries and wineries. Some as close as a 5 minute drive. Charlottesville is a 30 minute drive. The owners communicate well and are quick to respond. I would recommend staying here and hope we get another opportunity in the future!
