The scenery is absolutely stunning, with enormous waterfalls serving as a backdrop. We spent our time exploring the area, hiking to the top of the mountain where the waterfalls begin, and enjoying the wild berries. We boated to Balestrand for dinner one night. Every evening, we'd sit on the dock listening to the sounds of the falls. This is a perfect escape for anyone looking for an authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience.
