This place was great! Staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. The food was fantastic and one of the better locations we have eaten and stayed at. Facility was nice and fairly clean. Shower tile and tile around toilet was wet upon check. Drinks at the bar were spendy, but overall it was a pleasant stay.

Set in a beautiful setting. Our room had really dark walls so the lighting inside was not adequate. Also there was quite a bit of traffic to the hot tub which was close to our window and at times can become noisy. Complimentary breakfast. Nice and helpful staff. Location of the room and view is important for the best experience.

Smug staff. Buildings look like sheds. You are staying in a sheep field. Shower pours water all over the bathroom floor. Terrible lighting. Good beds. Hot tub is an old cement pool that is chipped and dingy. Breakfast is good. Good coffee. Would have liked some smoked salmon with breakfast like other hotel we stayed at. Vik on whole is a tourist trap and overpriced. If we come back will skip Vik.

We were in a newer room that was very nice and well appointed. Clean bathroom, decent size and plenty of outlets. Very quiet. Only reason for the lower rating - hot tub was not very hot and there were issues at breakfast keeping up with demand.

Lovely stay close to what we wanted to see for a few days. Breakfast included and was delicious. Restaurant was tasty too. Our waiter/bartender made some wonderful suggestions to help us see puffins and shared some other suggestions as well. Very happy with our stay.

The room was smaller than expected, but clean, no curtain for shower and no tray for shampoo was a bit disappointing for the cost. No fridge either. Communal area was nice with a table. Did not have dinner but breakfast provided was good, no hot eggs or meats though but had waffles

This is a beautiful property. We got their suite and it was very large for 4 people. They have great breakfast and the staff was very friendly. The only bad thing was that the room was very warm at night. We asked for a fan which helped but overall, the room was very hot. This seemed to be a common thing in Iceland.
