Located only a 2 minute walk from the main publicly accessible statues, very convenient. If you want to eat at a restaurant you can walk along the beach into town past several dining options. The only downside is the very occasional power cuts in the evening of a hotter day but they were usually only 15 minutes at a time when we were there end of December so manageable.

Bill came to the island in 1992 as construction manager for Kevin Costner's film Rapa Nui, and became so enchanted that he decided to stay.
