"This was the best experience I have ever had at a hotel, a family run business that makes you feel like a member of the family. The staff went out of their way to include us in events and give us personalized tours and very reasonable prices. Mike and Jonathan both were fantastic people to have around. They both spoke English for us because they knew I couldn’t understand Spanish. If you are going to Rapa Nui you need to book here. Felt like I left the island with new friends and a second home."

"We stayed in the cabins which are very roomy and comfortable. The restaurant is good and its view of the ocean is great. They have a traditional show twice a week and that’s easy and fun to attend. WiFi is only in the lobby and it’s ok. The staff is nice but they were always busy so not always that helpful. Overall it’s a good place and very convenient to walking to restaurants and shops and the harbor. "

"Everyone was welcoming and helpful from the moment Maria picked us up at the airport. Sebastian was there to explain Hare Nua's history. Room was clean and spacious (corner) Breakfast was amazing, more than we could eat!!!They are near the market, so we could get snacks and extra water (filtered water provided was appreciated but quite flat and tasteless) They gave us restaurant recommendatiions as well. I recommend Harer Nua to anyone visiting Easter Island (Rapa Nui, Isla de Pascua). "

"It was very comfortable to stay at this resort in Rapa Nui. The rooms are comfortable and quirky, but the real value is in the amenities. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They will help you with all of your arrangements from rental car to excursions. The breakfast was included in our booking and was a great variety, including custom omelets. You need to have your expectations in the right place. This is an extremely isolated island -- one of the most remote places in the world -- so obtaining building supplies and such is a challenge, so most places are behind on maintenance when compared to other locations around the globe. Just accept this as part of the experience or this is not the right destination for you."

"This hotel is a little out of town about 20 min walk but that is what made the property relaxing for us. All the staff was very nice and helpful. Very clean accommodation "

"One thing I really liked about this place was it’s literally walking distance from the airport, about two blocks away. The transfer company had my flight wrong so didn’t show up, and I really wanted to get to the hotel to use the pool, so I walked, and it was fine. They actually let me into my room early, which was very kind, and let me check out late because I was coming back from a beach excursion and wanted to have a shower. Good breakfast, nice, big room, clean, and lovely pool! My friend had wanted lunch one day but apparently you have to give 24 hours notice as they are only equipped for breakfast. That is the only thing that might be a downside because it is a bit of a walk (10 min) to another restaurant, and about 20 minute walk to town. It was an amazing experience, Easter island is a fantastic place."
