1). The images on the website are VERY misleading. The online focus is on beautiful newly renovated rooms as I would expect from a Hilton property. My room, however, was extremely old, dirty, and tired looking. The bed was not made properly exposing the mattress, the glass door was damaged and was very difficult to open, the ceiling had cracks, you could see through the edges of the door to the outside, the Playstation 3 HDMI cord was broken and had to be positioned in a certain way to work, etc. I felt misled and this was disappointing. Additionally, the pictures of the beach online do not make it clear that there is NO OCEAN FRONT SAND BEACH. Our favorite activity is walking beaches and we had to go the competing hotels to experience this at our own expense.
2) The Check-In process was another misleading event. The check in person said that there are no golf courses affiliated with the hotel and I would have to find one on my own (this was not true), the check in person said that "all water sports are complementary" (this was also a lie, we would have to rent everything), they said that the renovated rooms are for owners only and the whole hotel was converting (also not true, there were renovated rooms available and the building was way under capacity)
4) We were disappointed in the many many fees: $10 room service fee, $33 parking, Rental fees, $40 per day resort fees (I am not sure for what since not much was included)
