Front receptionist/service check-in the girl went from nice to rude in a split second. My child and arrived late and everything was closed, we had no water, I simply asked where the water and she said, unless I was a higher-rated diamond member she wasn’t going to give me bottled water.(I thought back to the days when I was) I said okay, but where can get some bottled water for my son and I? She said I can fill up my water bottle at the water station over there, nodding her head in a direction of anywhere in a huge resort I am not familiar with. I told her I didn’t have a water bottle, so where can I get one? She looked at me like I was crazy and said rudely to me, “ I don’t understand what you are asking?” What can I put my water in if I don’t have anything to put the water in? She became loud, as though I was deaf and slow, and spoke to me like I was a child repeating to me that the water station were again, over in some place over my shoulder where I could not see. It was very awkward as there were a few other guests looking on. I again said, is there a cup by the water station? She said, no. It was AWFUL. She was rude, mean, and I was sent to every floor to find a vending machine that contained water on the complete other side of building on the 4th floor in the middle of the night so myself and my child could have water. Insane! So disappointed in the lack of kindness and empathy customer service at Hilton is. My prior stay, Hyatt Regency Waikiki was exceptional.
