"My family and half of our baseball team was staying here for the state baseball tournament. All the other hotels were completely booked. The outside of the building was outdated and the lobby was small. Our room was clean and smelled great. Our cleaning lady had just finished mopping the floor. The room was larger than expected which was nice because we brought a blow up bed for our son. We really liked the laminate flooring because hotel carpeted floors is gross! Going into this hotel we knew there was no pool but we went to the Marshall Aquatic Center (huge hit) and then went to Tavern 507 for dinner. There is a nice restaurant in the parking lot too - we just didn't have a reservation so couldn't get in with our group size. Staff was friendly - offered us box fans because of the heat 90+ and the AC units had a hard time keeping up if people put them lower than 64 degrees. We went to breakfast in the morning but again we knew going into it that 'breakfast' was going to limited when you stay and pay this price. We would go back - we had friends on other teams that had other experiences with dirty rooms, dirty sheets, or outdated spaces. This Super 8 was clean and really that is all you really need."
