"Nice big room. Comfy bed. Friendly staff. Had our little dog with us and although a LOT of dog rules, she was allowed in most places. We only had continental breakfast which wss adequate. Full breakfast looked generous. We ate one night at the restaurant which was good. Sadly the view not idea with temporary kitchens that look lile they will be there a while."

"Lovely location, incredibly charming and helpful staff. Food was actually very good also, I was surprised. The hotel itself is a bit run down and the rooms aren't wonderfully appointed (a bit shabby across the board) but the staff and location go a long way to making up for that."

"This is a beautiful historic property with lovely grounds to enjoy. The staff were welcoming and helpful and made it a relaxing experience. The room was spacious and well furnished. Breakfast was delicious with a good range of quality food. I was disappointed by dinner. The waitress gave us some incorrect information about nibbles (the peppers were not padron), the bottled water was overpriced and the food was good but not special. Overall I’d still recommend as an enjoyable experience."
