Warkworth Chalets

Woodhouse Mountain Lodge was an ideal escape for us. Situated on a mountainside that feels remote despite being minutes from a highway, this lodge offers villas that feel secluded and "away from it all," along with ocean views. The villas are luxuriously appointed with comfortable beds, large bathrooms, gas fireplaces and beautiful artwork. We enjoyed walking the grounds, sweating in the sauna, and eating delicious meals at the lodge. The staff were super friendly. If you're looking for a...

Amazing accommodation! Very clean and comfortable! Lovely grounds! Next to a Michelin star restaurant and winery! Close to Matakana town! !

After a month in NZ, this was probably the nicest place we’ve stayed. It felt like we were visiting a friend’s home, instead of staying in a hotel. Sitting room cozy, kitchen modern, fully equipped and clean. Hosts very friendly. Close to town which wasn’t too touristy.

Lauren was such a wonderful host. Everything was perfect. We loved our stay in Snells Beach at Tahi Lodge and wished we had spent more time there.

Ramona the owner was very helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

Nice, spacious, comfortable room

The best I ever had in New Zealand! Since I came here, everyday is just new and different. There is so much activities to do out here. Very quiet too. 3mins walk to the Warkworth city Centre. Best location ever and it is about 45mins to the Auckland central (10am-2pm and sometimes later in the day). You have to come here and see things for yourself..I promise you, you will love it here. We have the best host at Walton park motor lodge. They made our stay fun and an incredible experience. Dan and...

Staff was very welcoming and helpful! Room was very clean and felt very comfortable. Love the privacy and the feeling of being in nature. Highly recommended staying here.

Great place to stay, with easy beach access. My family (2 adults, 4 kids) all loved it. Clean, comfortable and nice!

Exactly as shown in the photos. Clean and spacious. I loved the balcony for morning coffee and for evening dinners. We had an amazing view from the 10th floor. I loved the big kitchen. Two grocery stores and the beach very close by. We had the One plus one apartment.

Nice place, good location and friendly owner. Stayed for one night. Place was clean and had nice amenities like fridge, microwave, Dishes etc.

This was a great find! A bit off the beaten track, but that adds a lot to its charm. Its only 8 minutes to the village, but is in a very peaceful and beautiful countryside setting. Great views of the ocean. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Great staff. Definitely a winner!

Great room, spotlessly clean, fresh cup of hot tea brought to my room on arrival. Great little town square area of restaurants and pubs just a 2 minutes drive down the street. Would stay again with no hesitation.

Clean room, good communication with the staff. AC worked great. The jacuzzi tub was excellent for tired, weary muscles.

We found our stay and the Maxim to be beyond a 5⭐️ experience. Staff was friendly, attentive, and super helpful. Facilities were immaculate.. Can’t say enough good things about the Maxim.

I absolutely loved this property it had the right amount of busy but calm/quiet charm in a safe suburb at the right times. Staff both front desk and back house excellent service provided. As a single female traveling alone as a lot of us are doing these days the parking arrangements are safe, simple and easy. The safety of this property for me was above reproach and I’ve travelled quite extensively during my time on active duty. I greatly recommend getting a garden view room and highly regard...

Just stayed one night. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Accommodations were comfortable, clean and well maintained. Lovely to sit on the patio and look out at the fairway.
