We had a wonderful stay at the JW Marriott DC. From the day before our stay when Adam reached out to welcome us to checking out, it was an all around great experience. The staff made it extra special for my 6 year old son on his first trip to Washington with a surprise left in our room for him. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

The staff went to extremes to make sure we felt safe and appreciated. Safe was due to some other guests who caused a disturbance. The stare was great and helpful. The front desk staff especially the lady who checked us in and a gentleman named Lucas. The room was a little smaller than I expected and a little dated, but it was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was clean and nice. The price was very very reasonable for such a nice hotel. Plus they gave us 2 complementary old town trolley tickets and some food credit. The lobby is beautiful and the restaurant their avenue grill has great food we had the mussels and the kids had several items from the kids’ menu that they loved. All in all… great hotel and staff with a very good location. Close to the national mall, museums and 2 blocks away from the Whitehorse.
