My stay at the moxy was good. Ken at the front desk was super kind and helpful, rooms were nice and water pressure in the shower was great. They have a little grab and go area that has microwaves ( yay!!!) but they had roaches crawling on them. i was hoping to heat up some food but was not able to. Location was great and very close to main places.

The hotel is not bad. It is a traveler hotel, Room is a bit too small. There was VERY LOUD music in the roof bar. You can’t hear the the waiter or the person you are with. Breakfast has no GF options. Need hard boiled eggs or something with protein. Staff seemed a bit too casual and didn’t offer up any additional help.

The rooms are much smaller than they seemed when I was booking on Expedia. And so much glass. The bed takes up most of the room. Do not take the stairs! I thought I could use the stairs, right? I ended up locked in the stairwell. Every exit door was locked. I kept frantically banging on doors to no avail. I called the front desk twice, no one picked up. By my own sheer determination I made my way through labrythine staff areas until I found a spiral wooden staircase. I go down and end up in the Parlor. That door was locked and apparently no one could assist me. Luckily, cursing under my breath, there is an exit door to the outside!!! But, yeah, lotta good the staff was. Also, pretty sure thats dangerous in the case of a fire. The lobby is huge and what they boast about, this place ain't about the actual room you are renting. Its in a convenient location, only moderately pricey, and has a hip/cool vibe. Regardless, I don't think I will be staying here again.
