"We loved our stay here! It was cozy and romantic. I had planned it as a surprise for my partner - imagine my surprise when the evening turned chilly and he pulled out a hoodie with a buffalo on the front!We had a nice bonfire, listened to the coyotes howl at the full moon, cooked dinner and breakfast for two, and got lots of quality time with sweet sugarface Denali, who faithfully kept watch outside our door during the night and was waiting there for us in the morning. She joined us for a walk and lead me around by my sleeve. So sweet and silly. We also got to meet one cat, one pig, and so many goats who gave lots of kisses.The time spent sitting on the dock just watching & listening to the water was comforting and brought back lots of memories of being a kid at my grandparents' lake cabin. It was good for my soul.Carrie was so communicative and lovely. She made sure I had all the info needed to get us there and enjoy our time. She even sent me pictures and names of many of her sweet animals in advance! I'd love to return someday."

"The weather turned unexpectedly cold and I fell ill while traveling. What a relief to find this nice little place. The heat worked well and kept me comfortable. Everything was clean and in good repair. I was pleasantly surprised by the update furnishing. My room even had a microwave. I would definitely recommend it if you need a travel stop in that part of Kansas."

"Clean, helpful staff, easy to access from the highway, easy and safe parking, grocery store across the street and a restaurant next door. There’s a field of flowers out the back door which was peaceful. "

"Nice, little home for a quiet getaway. Close to several restaurants and the grocery store. The beds were comfortable with ample blankets. The kitchen was well supplied with the necessary cooking items. The heat/air worked well. There were dehumidifiers in each room which were appreciated to cut down on the humidity. The neighborhood is very quiet. We had a nice stay."

"We booked the place for our friends' getaway--8 of us. We were SO pleased with this house! Having two big tables allowed us to eat at one and keep a jigsaw puzzle going on the other. The seating options in the living room gave us all a place to sit and visit together. The rooms, especially the king-bed rooms, were so spacious. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom--fabulous! The weather didn't allow us to enjoy the firepit, but that area looks great, too. We loved it and will definitely be back! "
