Spacious and quiet place for families
This home was described accurately and was very well appointed. There was very little we found ourselves looking for during our stay. The proerty management team was very responsive. We left feedback for the owners that was very minimal and would recommend this properly for anyone looking to be tucked away from the bustle of the towns and a quiet place to relax. Plenty of towels, linens, and homey amenities. Hot tub was a huge plus with the cold weather during our stay. Drive up and down to the property was not terribly challenging. We had ladybug visitors that did not bother us, but as this is a mountain side property it’s expected to have little visitors from time to time.

Perfect for a family getaway! The house met our expectations! Especially, the location.
We mostly explored. The Blue Ridge Parkway was amazing. We chased waterfalls and enjoyed hiking. We got to enjoy both winter and spring with 70 degrees weather to snow flurries. The house was totally equipped with all our needs.

Great Fall getaway
We were blessed to stay right at the start of the Fall color season. We really enjoyed the stunning morning mountain view with a good cup of coffee on the large deck. This cabin was a convenient drive to Maggie Valley and Waynesville with never more than 10 minutes or so to restaurants or attractions, while still feelin secluded on the mountain. This is definitely on our list of places we want to stay again!

Beautiful Views
The house was gorgeous and well furnished, and the views are amazing. The road to the house was steep and narrow but overall pretty manageable. The only downside of our stay was the extensive amount of cleaning expected when we already paid a substantial cleaning fee (laundry, dishes, hauling trash to the dump or paying an additional fee).

So Comfy for a Group
We arrived to find the property just as we expected. Everything was ready and inviting. (Note that the bed in the room with bunk beds is a full and didn’t sleep 2 adults but we made it work.) We did have a short term problem with the refrigerator and we’re very impressed that the property manager, Melissa, took care of it very efficiently. Thank you! Our stay was so much fun!

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful cabin with awesome mountain views. The kitchen was well supplied, and layout was perfect for multiple "chefs". The interior of the cabin was charming, and both porches were very large and had magnificent views. We would love to stay here again.

Excellent location- Private but close to everything
Property was very clean and plenty of space and amenities. all in good working order. This was our second time staying at this cabin because we .liked it so much the first time., which we had never done before. The only thing that had changed was that they got rid of Direct TV in favor of streaming and I did not like not having local news and weather channels, but a minor issue as we did not spend a lot of time watching TV. Great location to most highways to get to most of the things we wanted to do which were all in reasonable proximity to the cabin. Would stay here again except the price has gone up significantly making it cost-prohibitive for our small group. Would be good cabin for more family to share.

Even better than the listing & pictures!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this home and would strongly recommend the property. First, it was very CLEAN, which is a must for us. The property is much nicer than the pictures and we felt immediately at home. The hot tub worked perfectly, and the porch was large, in great shape, and had lots of seating.. The gas grill and games (ping pong and foosball) were fun! We used the fire pit and enjoyed sledding down the hill when it snowed the first day. Location is very good. Easy access to downtown Waynesville and Maggie Valley, and also made day trips to Asheville, Sylva, Dillsboro, Cherokee, Smoky Mountain National Park, Max Patch, and Blue Ridge Parkway. All of these places in less than a week proves the location is very strong. Cabin had everything we needed and was so comfortable. Great wifi and streaming tv offerings. Fire wood provided for the fire pit for an extra fee. Peaceful and private. View was also good considering how close you are to downtown, shopping, grocery stores, etc. Would definitely recommend and return again. Enjoy!

Great location, fabulous view!
This house is beautiful! It is the last house at the top of a curvy quiet road. Their are neighbors below you but you are hard pressed to see them and we never heard them. We did hear a lot of wild turkeys though! The location is convenient to Waynesville, so we got to enjoy several restaurants like Boojum Brewery, Chef’s Table and Frog Level Brewery ( we went to others but those three shouldn’t be missed). Even though it was April, it was snowing when we arrived. The hot tub was incredible in the snow!!

Great property and location
The cabin was exactly what we were expecting, and more. It is easy to get to and we had cell service the entire week (Verizon). The house was very clean and well-appointed, and everything worked as expected. The hot tub was already warmed up for us also so we could relax after a long drive. The house is at the very end of a winding and sometimes steep paved road, but nothing scary or impassable. It could be a little intimidating in the snow or ice, but it was perfect conditions for our week in the end of March. It was so nice having the privacy without having to drive miles and miles into the mountains. Check-in process was perfect and everything was laid out in a folder left for us, which answered pretty much any questions we had. The area right outside the property is mostly rural with some trailer lots, but nothing that is an eyesore from the property. Maggie Valley and Waynesville are a short drive away and have restaurants and grocery stores. I reccomend going to Cataloochee Valley for hiking and elk watching, and for a very challenging drive on a twisty dirt road in the mountains. Its not far from the cabin, but ends up being about a half hour due to the driving in the mountains. We would happily recommend the house to anyone looking for a vacation in the "mountains" without worrying about needing an ATV to get there. :)

Teachers have Spring Break also
Very nice house that the two of us enjoyed very much. Nice views from the living areas, convenient to Waynesville, short trip to Ashville and several trails in NE GSMNP. We have rented several houses in the NC GSMNP (Bryson City, Sylvia, Alarka) region and would rate this house as one of the best. The hot tub was very nice and we did enjoy its use. One word of caution, as explained to us by management company, if you are coming in on a back to back weeks the hot tub takes time to reheat after servicing. In our case it was at 100f at 10PM , still too cold for my liking. A minor disappointment that would have been a nice to know in advance. By the next morning it was at 104F and no further issues. Overall experience was great and definitely would recommend.

Beautiful Cabin and Excellent View
We were very happy with our stay at this location. Plenty of parking and very spacious cabin. It was clean and well-stocked for our stay and very good instructions for everything. The view was amazing, TV's all worked well and was very clean for a cabin that allows pets. Great location and well-paved driveway. It was steep but easy to travel and we had no issues hauling our 5 x 8 trailer with our vehicle up the hill. We would definately stay here again.

Amazing stay at an amazing mountain home!
Driving up the long winding road to the house we were all blown away by the views and the exterior of the house. Once we entered it was clear that the pictures do not do the house or location justice. We were absolutely thrilled with our choice. We did a mix of staying home to cook and relaxing on the two giant decks to driving the 15 minutes into Waynesville or the 30-40 minutes to Asheville. Tremendous hiking trails all within short drives as well, which we took advantage of. But it was always nice t come back and spend the evening in the hot tub, on the deck reading, or making a fire in the fire pit out in the yard. I could not recommend staying in this home for your vacation more highly. We would definitely stay here again.

5 Star Experience
This home was exactly what we were looking for on our trip to western NC. The pictures are accurate but still don't completely capture the beautiful view, the privacy, and the overall comfort. Everything was spotless upon arrival, directions were clear, and everything just "worked". We played foosball, ping pong, used the fire pit and the jacuzzi, and all of it was so much fun. The gas fireplace worked perfectly and even the way you turn it on is clever. The layout was great for our family of four plus our dog. It felt much bigger than the square footage listed. Others mentioned communication with the owners being great. I would agree accept that there is not much communication needed because everything works and directions so clear. Finally, having the full yard and the property being at the end of a dead end road gave it complete privacy, more than I expected. All around it was a perfect house and so much fun! I have no hesitation in rating this a five star property/experience! Thank you again Scott and Heather!

Wonderful mountain getaway
The house was wonderful with everything we needed for cooking and accommodating a group of six! For a covid cautious family this house was super clean! The view was just what we wanted and we enjoyed the evenings in the hot tub looking at the stars. The property was great for dogs and kids with lots of room to run and play...and close to hiking and day trips to gatlinburg/PF if you choose. The property management was extremely responsive. Overall we would highly recommended this property and had a great time!

Gorgeous Cabin! Spectacular view!
The cabin was gorgeous and very secluded! However, it looks like they are building more cabins nearby. It was just the four of us and our dog, but the home easily could accommodate two families. Pros: Quick drive up the mountain to the cabin Close to Waynesville and Maggie Valley Gorgeous views from the cabin Amazing oversized porch/deck with rocking chairs and outside eating Cabin itself is even prettier than shown in the photos. Kitchen is extremely spacious and has everything you need Gas fire in living room is just beautiful and heats up the entire main living space Cabin is currently very secluded and private. No other cabins or homes on site. Ping pong, corn hole, and foosball were a blast and perfect additions to the cabin experience Hot tub was wonderful and located close to the home, so it made it super easy to get in and out and not freeze. Plus it had a great view where it was located. Cons- The fire pit was awesome, but far from the house. Would have liked it to be closer and an easier walk to get to. The road to the cabin, in extenuating circumstances, can ice over and may require chains or four wheel drive. So stay aware of freezing conditions during the winter months. The management company was great at communicating with us and helped us get up the mountain when we arrived due to ice.
