This is a cute little home located very close to downtown Waynesville. It is up a fairly steep gravel road on the side of a mountain and has a beautiful view from the porch! The living room is spacious and was perfect for our family gathering. Dining room table can seat 8 for meals and games. There is a hot tub but we did not use it. Large kitchen that could use a small table for 2\. The Large gas fireplace really kept us cozy! It is so close To everything! Only down side was they could use some better cookware, the pans they have there need to be replaced. Would recommend and we would definitely rent again! ##### Kat C. My husband and I had our daughter and her three daughters. There was plenty of room. I had to buy containers to put left over food in. I had trouble in the morning getting the kuerig to work, so I bought a coffee pot and left it there. The Kuerig worked that afternoon. My husband and I are avid coffee drinkers. We appreciated having a washer and dryer there. We were not use to having such low water pressure, and learned we can only be using water at one spot at a time. I think low water pressure is common in the mountains. It was easy access to the various sites we visited. The power to the stove was turned off. Alternative, some DVD's. No directions. Road very steep, very sharp turn on to property.... had to pass the turn.. back on to lane, pull back onto steep road.. back up road and gun it up the steep lane. (after removing large rocks). Road was narrow with briars and brush that scraped the car. Family lunch visit was canceled over their safety concerns, as were our own trips in and out. Otherwise ok. We are readers, so it would have been nice to have a little better/brighter lighting, but we made do.
