This is the second time I have stayed there in last couple of mths, lovely suite we stayed in, lovely pub and good breakfast. Will definitely stay there again.
Stayed here only a couple of months ago this time in a different suite with a lounge, kitchenette and dining area separate to the bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Warnly welcomed and shown to my room and helped out with cooling my drinks. Plenty of parking available. Extremely comfortable bed leading to a great night's sleep and a cooked breakfast with good quality, locally sourced items setting me up for the day ahead.
Great stay for a family four - breakfast was excellent and the space in the bedroom was great - separate room with bunk beds and a single bed, with a living room and full double in. Only problem was the heat but not a lot anyone could do about that!
They were fab with our children's multiple food allergies, the breakfasts were fantastic. We also ate in the restaurant twice which was lovely. All the staff were super friendly. We had a really nice stay
Lovely old country inn setting. Our room was beautiful and we had the added bonus of a separate kitchen and lounge.
We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was disappointing, but our breakfast the next morning was delicious.
Gave us a friendly and enjoyable stopover for our onward journey to Cornwall. Food was lovely and breakfast included was very nice. Dog friendly with a nice walk across the road through surrounding fields. A lovely setting and would recommend if you’re wanting to break a longer journey up or looking for a weekend stop with your dog.
Excellent stay at the Martlet Inn,superb food comfortable room and bed, excellent choice of evening meal and breakfast, would not hestitate in staying there in the future and would recommend anyone passing on the M5 to break 5heir journey and stop here.
No wonder this inn is rated so highly, it's a wonderful getaway in a charming village. The lamb dinner and hot English breakfast were outstanding. Friendly atmosphere and very welcoming staff. Our room was spacious and clean.

Friendly staff and clean property. Parts of it could do with refurbishing.
Lovely staff and nice food.
Bed very comfortable.
Shame you couldn't get a cooked breakfast until 9.30. Too late for us, only continental breakfast for us!

Lovely welcome and shown to our room, we booked breakfast which was delicious. Danielle looked after us from start to finish she was lovely. Definitely be back.
Lovely little pub B&B. Room was amazing. Very big with separate living room and kitchenette. Staff very friendly and helpful (allowed us an early check in to get ready for a wedding). Breakfast was lovely. Can’t actually fault the place, would definitely use again.
