Great location and breakfast, but room to improvePosted Sep 6, 2017 on Orbitz
Cons: Bathroom cleanliness Something to reduce noise from hallways New mattresses
Location: Short walk to heart of German Colony (Emek Refaim) or First Station areas for all kinds of shopping/dining
Hotel is well-located for anyone wanting to be in/near German Colony or Baka neighborhoods. Also easy to reach Katamon, Talpiot, and Talbiyeh (Jerusalem Theater) area. Breakfast had a good variety for such a small hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. On the other hand: - bathroom smelled very musty - housekeeping knocked at 8 AM to see about making up room; couldn't it have waited a bit? - hallways are uncarpeted and room doors are thin, so one hears a lot of noise - bed wasn't so comfortable

Decent boutique hotel but not my stylePosted Sep 3, 2017 on Hotels
The boutique hotel was not as modern as others. It was an older building in an older residential neighborhood. It's a good fit for someone who doesn't want as much city action as we did. Easy access using the bus and city train. Not a bad experience - just not right for us.

Nice hotel for a day or 2Posted Aug 14, 2017 on Hotels
Nice hotel for one or 2 days, well-located, friendly staff, simple but full breakfast. Rooms would need some renovation at some time.
A simple, inexpensive and convenient hotel.Posted Jul 14, 2017 on Hotels
I attended a 10 day seminar, with a pretty intense program, so the hotel worked out really well for me - location was perfect, both for the study (10 min walk) and for seeing friends - First Station is a short walk away, with lots to offer, and Emek Refaim has lots of restaurants as well. The hotel is very simple, nothing fancy, but the bed was fine, the shower worked well and the breakfast was very nice as well. I think the room could use a better dusting, but it was cleaned daily, bed made up, clean towels etc. Good choice, will definitely be back again. One thing to watch out for: all rooms are on upper floor, and there's no lift!
Great little placePosted Jun 3, 2017 on Hotels
This is a great little place -- very simple accommodation (nothing fancy), but in an excellent neighborhood and a cozy overall vibe. Recommended.
