During my stay, the shuttle drivers were polite but not particularly friendly. Upon arrival, there were two people at the front desk; one was assisting some guests, while the other, who clearly saw us waiting to be checked in, did not acknowledge us, which was a bit off-putting. I also think the front desk staff should have chairs, as the hotel isn’t very busy, and they should be able to rest. Standing for long hours is not healthy.
The breakfast staff and bartender were very friendly. One breakfast attendant of African descent was especially friendly; she greeted every guest. She was also patient, calmly cleaning up after two young children made a mess at the breakfast station. (They emptied cereal, flooded the waffle machine, and handled the bread). She would even bring your waffle to the table for you.
The male room attendant was polite, and the rooms and hotel surroundings were immaculate.
The hotel is conveniently located near a shopping plaza.
Even though the standard check-out time is 11 AM, which was a bit early for us with a 4 PM flight, we were able to extend it to 2 PM at no extra charge.
The only downside was the limited options for dinner, and a delivery from Amazon. Initially, the staff couldn’t find the package and told me there wasn’t any. When I mentioned who had signed for it, she went back to look and then told me I would have to pay $50 to collect it, which was surprising.
Overall, clean, convenient, and mostly friendly.
