Beautiful Ocean Getaway

Our stay was wonderful. My purpose was to see family as I have moved away from Long Island and all my family still lives there. My sister and her husband stayed with me. Since this was about family , it was great, in spite of the cold, rain, and wind for our stay. The owners were quick to respond to any questions. The accommodations are absolutely fantastic. I would suggest asking about fire codes’ restrictions on overnight guests, and visitors to be sure it meets your needs in that way.

Private oceanfront cottage

Location is incredible, we loved the expansive ocean views and outdoor deck. It was very quiet with a path to the beach right behind the property. We had some issues with cleanliness on arrival. The host was quick to respond and address. Based on his attentiveness I imagine this should not be an issue for others.

If your aim is to stay on the ocean, enabling you to walk off the deck directly on to the beach, with private space for all and ocean views from every room - well - look no further! Exactly what we hoped for and more.

House on westhampton beach, ny

Great location. Pristine beach with hardly anyone else on the beach (mid May). No shampoo or conditioner in bathrooms as reported. The house needs a bit of TLC. Could be a bit cleaner. There was sand on the floor in the master bedroom upon our arrival. It seemed like there was white dog hair on the bedspread. I dont have a dog. The dishwasher seemed like it was working but was not getting the dishes clean. I think it is time for a new dishwasher.

Great location

We had a wonderful time. Loved the house, the location, walks on the beach and watching deer pass by the home on a daily basis. The house is a little worn but many older beach homes are like this. The steps up to main entrance may be a challenge for the elderly or anyone mobility limited. The dishwasher needs to be upgraded. A few minor issues when we first arrived were readily taken care of by the owner who responded quickly.

Beautiful relaxation

Stayed at this gorgeous home with oceanfront views with my adult nieces. We enjoyed beach walking, the fireplace ( with duraflames log use only but it was great)! The house was very clean with comfortable beds, couches, outdoor furniture. The smart tv was great for finding movies. The host was great with communication. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. We enjoyed having a wine refrig too! Very quiet and peaceful location. Just FYI for other potential renters- need to go slow on dune rd. To find entrance as it’s not a road- it’s a beach access path you drive onto. That was a little tricky because we weren’t sure we could drive on it, but we came to love the true privacy of it!! Saw lots of deer in early morning with beautiful sunrises! Each bedroom has own balcony facing the ocean! Lots of good restaurants and farms and fairs around that we enjoyed!! ThAnks for a wonderful vacation!

What a sweeet family vacation

Our family absolutely loved our stay here. The house is absolutely gorgeous and very family friendly. Everything was very easy to access: Appliances, towels, bed linens, washer/dryer. House rules are clearly listed and they provide a great sheet to follow prior to check in. The sound of the waves crashing while your sitting on the porch gazing at the stars and moon was so therapeutic! As a frequent traveler, we highly recommend this place to stay for your vacation or mini getaway. It’s a home away from home. :)

Lovely stay!

This home is in such a perfect location. Aside from the ocean being right there, the deck is large and the furniture is comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed some home cooked meals. It's wonderful listening to the waves crashing while falling asleep. The owners were very responsive and answered my questions promptly as they came up. I will definitely return!

Fabulous Family Beach Holiday

From the minute we arrived at the house and saw the oceanview, we knew our week was going to be wonderful. We were right!!!! We had a fabulous time. The view from all the windows and the deck were just incredible. Even though the weather was cool and sometimes rainy we enjoyed the beach and the house. There were some wonderful restaurants in Westhampton Beach and we had so many great times at them. Our 3 year old grandson loved collecting shells on the beach and watching the seagulls. We even saw deer!!! The kitchen made our at home meals fun and easy. Thank you Susan for all your quick responses whenever I reached out. What a great time!!! We look forward to returning next spring!!!!!

Fantastic beach house

A wonderful beach house in a great location. Especially good for a family getaway - each bedroom has an ocean view and the rustic white furniture provides an atmosphere of exactly what you'd expect when you think of a beach house in the hamptons. A few min drive to town, but out of the way. A perfect place to relax and spend time with family.
